Lexie has had a rough soccer season this year.  Her team really isn't very good, and as much as we try and stress that it's not about winning and losing its hard to keep a good attitude when you are always losing.  And not just losing, but getting killed every game.  I think that they have only had 3-4 shots on goal all year and they haven't even made a goal, not even one.  The only highlight is that Lexie has taken to playing goalie and does a really good job.  I was a little nervous for her the first time, but she did so good that now she plays one half of each game as goalie and has been loving it.   The bad side of that is that she gets tested every second of the game.  It seems the ball is always on the wrong half of the field for her team, they are always playing defense.  At least she is getting a lot of practice at being goalie.  They had a make up game tonight for one of the ones that was rained out earlier this season and it was freezing, miserable in more ways that one.  I'm not sure if she is going to play in the summer league, but Ashton wants to.  I guess we will have to see.
