My kiddos are missing their dog. Well I guess it isn't their dog anymore, we found her a good home before we left, but still they are missing "our Ginger". We took these pictures right before we left so that the animal rescue people could find her a good home and show that she had lived with kids and then didn't end up needing them for that after all. I am so glad we took them though we hadn't taken any with her for a long time.

I'm drowning in a see of paper and cardboard. After two and a half days of unpacking this is the 2 foot high pile of unpacked boxes in my garage. (And I can't even tell you how much paper-that I didn't take pictures of-I have stuffed in other boxes around the house from unpacking.) I'm so tired of unpacking boxes and trying to figure out where to put stuff. I don't want to unpack another box, but I am so tired of seeing all of the boxes that we HAVEN'T unpacked sitting around the house. I think I might just go crazy from all of this cardboard and paper. One box at a time, and soon we will find the end of boxes.

Something has to give... I've been going a 100 different directions at 100 miles an hour and I can't keep up any more. I will get back to this, sometime, just not now. I have pictures I have taken, that I want to put on here, I just don't have the time. Maybe during that long, cold Minnesota winter I have been told to look forward too..... :)
So for now, I am out of the saddle....

Happy Father's Day! I have a terrific Father. He has taught me so many things. I love him so much. This picture is from Father's Day when Abbie was a baby, but it is so my Dad.
And how can I say enough about the Father of my wonderful kids. Jake does so much for us and works so hard to take of us. I love you both...

Today at family day with the guard Jake got to help the kids use the mine detector to find "mines". He got to tell the kids a little about what he does when he is at drill. Not that he goes around looking for mines here, but it is part of his job as a whole. The kids came away with a couple dollars worth of "mines".
